On October 14, 2025, Microsoft will officially end support for Windows 10, ceasing to provide free security updates for Windows 10 PCs. This marks a significant change for users.
Your PC will continue functioning normally for now, but its security will weaken over time due to unaddressed vulnerabilities. As time progresses, fewer updates and support will be available for outdated systems. Microsoft will no longer provide security updates, bug fixes, features, or technical support (of any kind) for Windows 10 after the October 2025 deadline. This is expected to be similar to the discontinuation of support for Windows 7 on January 1, 2024, illustrating this inevitable end.
